Start small - choose an attainable goal
Don't get frustrated and overwhelmed. If you miss a day - pick up the next day, where you left off.
Find a partner - if you are not self-motivated, seek out a friend who can hold you accountable and take a team.
Know your baselines - get that annual exam. Know your numbers (blood pressure, A1C, EKG, cholesterol, etc.)
Schedule your annual exam, mammogram, colonoscopy in advance. Many routine office appointments can have a 3 month wait.
